About the Study
We are studying how older adult volunteers can lead a group dementia program for persons living with dementia in assisted living and nursing homes. As a volunteer, you will complete a training course and guide the group activity twice per week for eight weeks. No experience needed, just love for music and connection!
Innovative App
With individually themed sessions containing songs and custom designed discussion questions.

Training
Volunteers will complete a three hour online training course to learn how to facilitate the music sessions and gain knowledge about dementia! Afterwards, you will be asked about what you have learned and give feedback that will help make improvements to the program.
Eligibility
Individuals 55 and older who are willing to volunteer in a group setting at an assisted living or nursing home. Must have access to email.
